Pronix builds and operates BSD/Linux infrastructure for organizations that need to stay in control of their digital systems. We design things to be understood, audited, and maintained — not just deployed once and forgotten.

What we do

We work in three connected modes:

• We build products that solve problems we have hit ourselves. Five of them — from Android notification filtering to internal certificate authorities — are documented in our portfolio.
• We deliver services for clients who need that same kind of system thinking applied to their environment — from security architecture reviews to end-to-end implementations.
• We operate what we build. Production deployments at e-commerce companies have been running our tools in the wild for years.

The thread that connects all of it: open-source-first, auditable, and built to outlast the next vendor cycle.

Why we exist

The default path in modern infrastructure is:

1. Buy a vendor solution — subscription, licensing, telemetry into the vendor’s cloud.
2. Hand control over a piece of your infrastructure to that vendor.
3. Pay forever, with no real ability to leave.

For organizations where security and continuity actually matter — financial services, healthcare, regulated industries, anyone with serious IP, anyone who has watched a vendor product go end-of-life — that path is not acceptable.

Pronix is the alternative: systems you can understand, audit, modify, and continue to operate without the vendor.

How we work

A few non-negotiable principles:

• Open source first. Every product and every customer system uses transparent, auditable building blocks. No black boxes, no proprietary lock-in.
• AI-augmented engineering. We use modern AI tools to multiply engineering output by 8–12× compared to conventional solo development — without compromising review discipline or audit trails. Methodology documented and reproducible.
• Production-tested before recommended. Every architectural choice we recommend, we have first run in our own production systems.
• Built to last. What we ship is designed to still be running — and still be modifiable — in ten years. No churn for the sake of churn.

The team

Pronix is led by a two-person founder team with deliberately complementary backgrounds:

• One side brings business strategy, organizational change, market research, and customer-journey design — the framing layer that turns a technical capability into something a business can actually use and operate.
• The other side brings deep technical and security engineering — hands-on BSD and Linux operations, cryptology, secure architecture, and production infrastructure at scale.

Together, that adds up to more than 50 years of combined experience in automation, digitization, and security. The business framing and the engineering depth are not handed off between two silos — they sit in the same conversation, the same proposal, and the same delivery.
